The 5/A Baker Transport Boots — also called Shorties — cover the lower leg from the hoof up to the knee or hock when hauling, rather than the full leg. A 1500-denier exterior sits over a dense 12mm foam layer, with 400 GSM cream synthetic sheepskin fleece lining the upper portion and nylon lining the lower.

- Shorter hauls where lower-leg coverage is enough
- Horses that travel badly in full-length boots
- Quick on and off at the trailer
