Per the manufacturer the joint and arms do not hinge downward, preventing pain to the roof, tongue and bars; the 11 mm low-profile gear casing prevents roof rubbing; and the flat plate prevents pinching, reducing bit pressure by 85%. The brakes add what the manufacturer describes as power steering for pullers — lowering the head and settling climbing, head tossing, pulling and hanging.
