To ensure accurate measurements, use a soft, flexible tape and wear form-fitting clothing. Stand naturally with arms at your sides, unless instructed otherwise. Measure twice for consistency, and if possible, have someone assist with harder-to-reach areas. Follow the instructions carefully for the best fit.
1. Bust
Position the measuring tape evenly around the chest at the widest point of the bust. Ensure the tape is level across the back and front, lying flat against the body without slack or excessive tension. Keep arms relaxed at your sides for an accurate reading.
2. Waist
Wrap the measuring tape around the waist at the narrowest point, typically just above the belly button. Ensure the tape is level across the front and back, lying flat against the skin without being too tight or loose.
3. Seat
Position the measuring tape around the fullest part of the hips, ensuring it is level across the front and back. The tape should rest flat against the body without pulling too tightly to capture the widest point accurately.
4. Sleeve
Measure from the outer tip of the shoulder to the wrist, keeping the arm slightly bent. Ensure the measuring tape follows the natural curve of the arm for an accurate length.
